Church of the Nazarene - South Asia Field

Work & Witness

It's All About Building

Building Buildings and Building God's Kingdom

A Work & Witness Team can consist of as few as 2 people. They travel to a site to help with construction, medical, technical, and evangelistic needs for up to 21 days. These mission teams are not only an opportunity for a team to accomplish something together in partnership with believers in another part of the country or world, but it’s also a time to develop cross-cultural relationships which, many times, last well beyond the short duration of the trip. Teams and local host churches can learn from one another, worship and pray together, and share God’s love with each other and the surrounding community. Work & Witness is unique in the denomination as a movement that began among lay people rather than being planned and developed from general church leaders. Local churches sought to do more than just pray and give – they wanted to go.

Work & Witness teams are very important for our mission to South Asia. For the past two decades, teams have helped to build many of the church and ministry center buildings that have contributed to the development of the church in the field.

We welcome you and your team to help support the work of the Church of the Nazarene in South Asia. Below, we offer you information about the countries in South Asia that need teams to come and help build churches, repair some buildings and district centers, as well as to finish some of the buildings that previous Work & Witness teams have started.
