South Asia Partnership Meetings

On October 26 and 27, 2018 a group of dedicated and committed people gathered at the First Church of the Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho to attend the annual South Asia Partnership meeting. We started with a delicious dinner prepared by the Nampa church team of volunteers.

After that South Asian leaders who came all the from Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and from other creative access countries, led by the Field Strategy Coordinator; Rev. Trino Jara,  shared about different ministries of the church, the advance of the church in reaching new communities and planting new churches as well as the challenges facing the church as it strives to make Christ-like disciples in the field.

Yes, God is active in the work of the church in South Asia; from planting new churches, engaging in pro-active  leadership to pastoral training in each district aimed to provide pastors in every church in the field.  The proposal of new aggressive evangelism and discipleship movement through NYI were presented with the goal to help to strengthen and to consolidate the churches in the field.

The proposed WIG (Wildly Important Goals) of  reaching 1 million followers of Jesus Christ, transformed with His love and compassion between now and the end of 2023 was introduced and presented. Discussion groups were organized around different priorities that need urgent attention in order to achieve the goal.

The South Asia Partnership meeting was a blessed and beautiful time of sharing, vision casting, warm fellowship, joy and laughter, prayer and praise in Gods presence. Of course you were missed in the meeting but we hope and pray you will tom come next year and continue to support the ministry we have ahead to introduce the people of South Asia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
