This is indeed a very special Easter season. It is not a major world war, nor a global natural disaster, a nuclear meltdown but a tiny for the human eye invisible virus, that brings the whole world to a stand-still. If one thing this phenomena shows how small human kind really is. We so often think we have everything in our hands. Nobody can tell the consequences of the current global lock-down. Many say that one thing is for sure: the world will not be the same anymore.
And yet, in spite of this global crisis and especially in it, we will celebrate with Christians around the world the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He came to bring hope to this world. A hope that reaches beyond the here and now. “God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die.” John 3:16.
With this in mind, have a very special and blessed Easter season. Our Lord is risen, truly, He is risen indeed.
